East Dakota Transit Public Meeting

East Dakota Transit (EDT) will be holding a public meeting to discuss the financial challenges currently facing our organization due to a shortage of local matching funds required for federal and state transit grants. Without additional local funding EDT may be forced to reduce or suspend public transportation services to your community.

The purpose of this meeting is to share information about EDT's funding situation, outline potential impacts to services and gather public input on how we can continue to provide these essential transportation services to the community of Madison, SD.

All interested persons are invited to attend and comment. Written comments will also be accepted through March 22nd, 2026 by email to airwin@rocsinc.org
