63rd Annual Steam Threshing Jamboree
Step back in time and experience one of the region’s most beloved traditions at the 63rd Annual Steam Threshing Jamboree at Prairie Village. This three-day celebration of history and heritage brings the past to life with activities and demonstrations for all ages.
Enjoy daily parades, a large flea market, and hundreds of vintage tractors and engines on display. Visitors can also explore the antique car show, featuring 30+ artifact-filled buildings throughout the village that showcase life from a bygone era.
Experience history in motion with horse and steam-powered threshing, tractor pulls, and daily sawmill and machinery demonstrations. Take a ride on the historic village train or the carousel, and enjoy free entertainment at the Lawrence Welk Opera House.
Hands-on demonstrations highlight traditional skills including weaving, quilting, spinning, and grain grinding, offering a fascinating look at how things were once made and done.
Food is plentiful with home-cooked meals at the Prairie Village Kitchen and a variety of food vendors throughout the grounds.
Special events include the Friday Evening Dinner Train (reservations required), along with train and carousel rides available Friday through Sunday.
For those traveling in, dry camping is available, along with shower houses and an RV dump station for convenience.
Bring the whole family and spend the weekend celebrating the ingenuity, craftsmanship, and community spirit that shaped our past and continues to inspire the future.
