Prairie Village Pumpkin Train / SoDak Vendor Showcase

Celebrate the magic of fall at the Prairie Village Pumpkin Train at Prairie Village! Families are invited to enjoy a festive day filled with autumn fun, train rides, and local shopping.

Climb aboard a historic train and ride out to the pumpkin patch, where children ages 12 and under can pick their own pumpkin straight from the patch (while pumpkins last). It’s a classic fall tradition and a perfect photo opportunity for families.

This year’s Pumpkin Train is also held in conjunction with the So Dak Vendor Showcase, featuring a variety of talented South Dakota vendors offering handmade goods, specialty items, and unique products. Visitors are welcome to browse the vendor booths throughout the day — no admission is required to shop the vendor showcase.
