Casting for Kids 2024 ?? ?? Date: Friday, May 17th ? Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM ?? Location: Lake Herman State Park Join us for a fun-filled day of fishing and memories at Casting for Kids! ?? Who: Youth of all ages are welcome, and parents are encouraged to stay. What to Bring: All equipment and bait will be provided, but anglers are welcome to bring their own gear if they’d like. Schedule: Registration begins at 10:00 AM. Fishing tournament starts at 10:30 AM. A meal, generously provided by the Madison Izaak Walton ??League awards will follow the event! ?? ?? About Casting for Kids: This event was created in memory of Steve Thrun, who passed away in 2013. Steve loved fishing, especially with his grandchildren, and this event keeps his spirit alive.
