SUMMARY:Annual Steam Threshing Jamboree
DESCRIPTION:Make plans now to attend and be part of this huge Prairie Village event. It's three big days featuring parades\, the largest flea market in the area\, steam and horse threshing\, machinery demonstrations\, truck and tractor pulls\, train and carousel rides\, free musical entertainment\, exhibits\, food\, and family fun.\n\nGolf cart rentals will be available during Jamboree until the supply is exhausted\, beginning at noon on Thursday. Payment for rentals must be cash or check only   no credit cards. A $20 Prairie Village registration fee will be payable separately at the gate with admission. For information regarding rental reservations\, call Brian at 605-595-8985.\n\nThursday\, August 23 at 4:30: Board of Directors Appreciation Supper free for all Jamboree exhibitors\, vendors and volunteers. Judging of the pie contest will take place prior to the appreciation dinner.\n\nOur dinner train will be serving a four course meal on Friday evening\, August 24\, leaving the depot at 6 pm. Reservations are required   $25 single\, $40 a couple\, $14 age 12 and under. Call the Prairie Village office at 605-256-3644 or 800-693-3644 to make reservations.
